While we were on vacation in Yellowstone, we were looking for good restaurants. We noticed a food and wine article about a small town with a wonderful array of restaurants close to where we were staying. https://www.foodandwine.com/livingston-montana-restaurants-7094893 Campione happened to be closed the night we were in Livingston, and we chose another recommendation “The Mint Bar & Grille,” 102 N Main St., Livingston, MT 59047. The four of us enjoyed our dinner with the BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Pork Chop with Apple/Onion Jam and Chicken Sammy being the favorites. For dessert, all savored the Peanut Butter Pie.

We were looking for a lunch restaurant in Rapid City and happened upon Delmonico. What a stroke of luck. The Honey Bourbon Tenderloin appetizer, Prime Rib French Onion Dip and 609 Burger were all outstanding. The ambiance was unexpected and appreciated. We highly recommend it if you are in Rapid City.

This was a memorable experience both for service and food. Homemade Pimento Cheese was good, but the PEI Mussels were a reason to go back. We asked for the mussels without coconut broth and the sauce was hard for Jacbo to stop dipping the warm crusty bread in. The Bourbon BBQ Glazed Pork Chop and Buttermilk Fried Chicken Breast were especially tasty. We are heading back to Magnolia in 2025.
